Independence Day is almost here, and there are plenty of opportunities to see fireworks across the Kansas City area. Kansas City area residents can watch 4th of July fireworks displays, from Overland Park to Liberty, for the Fourth of July. Here’s when and where. Celebrate the Fourth of July at Legacy Park! Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with a FREE fireworks show, perfectly choreographed to music, beginning at 9:30 p.m. Attendees can enjoy a DJ, food trucks and a variety of family-friendly events before the show.
