The Cortez Burst Triathlon, which takes place on July Fourth, will feature adult and youth categories. Races start at the Cortez City Park outdoor pool. The Gromet race for 4-to 5-year-olds scheduled for July 3 has been canceled. For adults (ages 15 and up) there are two categories. Car Show Registration will begin at 2:00 PM, and the entry fee is $15 per vehicle. Judging and trophy presentations will start at 7:00 PM. FREE Live music is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM in Parque de Vida. A beer garden will be set up east of the stage.
