July 4; Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. in Downtown PLANTATION, Fla. – The city of Plantation hosted its annual Fourth of July parade Thursday, which kicked off at 9 a.m. The parade route began at the intersection of Broward Boulevard and Kids' Zone, band & fireworks are part of the festivities. Events are at the Central Park ballfields, 600 Central Park Drive, Plantation. Here is the schedule: Entry is free. Food is available for purchase. Bring your own blankets or lawn chairs. No pets, please. Parking is limited. If possible walk, ride a bike or ride with someone else.
