In the next week, cities across America will be gearing up for the celebration of the nation’s birthday and Champaign-Urbana is no exception. Festivities begin on July 2, when the Urbana Free Library will host a “Gussy Up Your Bike!” event for children. Participants can bring their bike, stroller, wagon or scooter to the library’s 2025 Theme: America Celebrates Pride Of the Heartland Everyone loves a parade, whether it’s for the floats, marching bands, or nostalgia of the red, white, and blue.
