However, after some logistical challenges this year, the event will have changes aimed at enhancing safety moving forward. A longstanding tradition, the Ennis Fourth of July parade fills downtown each holiday. Arrive early–visitors come from near and far. Ennis Rodeo Ennis Rodeo Grounds, 7 p.m. Watch top cowboys and cowgirls compete in rough stock and timed events. This two-day rodeo is scheduled at 7 p.m. on July 3 and July 4, and takes place at the Ennis Rodeo The Ennis 4th of July Parade and Rodeo, known affectionately as the Ennis Rodeo, returns July 3–4, 2025, delivering a two-day celebration that blends Western pageantry, small-town pride, and big-league rodeo action in the heart of Madison County. This is Independence Day the Montana way. ENNIS — In just a few days, Main Street in Ennis will be filled with cheer as the town celebrates its 89th annual 4th of July Parade. “Last year was an exceptional year. We had about 8,000 people. This two-day rodeo is scheduled at 7pm on July 3rd and July 4th and takes place at the Ennis Rodeo Grounds. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Ennis Pharmacy or online. Ennis Lions Club Picnic at Peter T’s Park - Immediately following the parade Veteran’s Memorial Ceremony at Veteran’s Memorial Park - 12:00 pm celebrating local history and honoring local farmers, ranchers, artisans and hometown heroes The Ennis 4th of July Parade will take a slightly different route for 2024. The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) office in Bozeman issues Encroachment Permits for using the highway system and their right-of-way for various activities, including parades, non-standard parking, roadwork, etc. MDT has placed restrictions on the encroachment permit for this year’s 4th of July Parade Parade begins at 10:00 am July 4th. One of the Madison Valley’s most celebrated events, the traditional 4th of July Parade follows a route through historic downtown Ennis. Horses, floats, marching bands, and classic cars highlight the annual event which draws crowds in the hundreds to Ennis’ Main Street shopping district. The 89th Annual Ennis Fourth of July Parade is officially on! The parade will follow the same route as last year, with US-287 (East Main Street) and the Intersection MT287 and US287 closed to traffic from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Details Join us in celebrating local history and honoring local farmers, fishermen, ranchers, artisans and our hometown heroes! Parade begins at 10:00a SHARP and promptly ends at 11:00a.
