This 4th of July, the Downtown Mile is blasting off yet again in the heart of Flagstaff! The Downtown Mile is presented by Team Run Flagstaff and the Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce. In advance of the annual 4th of July parade, 4 waves of competitors will cover an iconic Mile on the actual parade route. Please note events could be canceled due to the weather or fire issues. As of July 2nd: (All Events On July 4th unless noted) Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce Fourth of July Parade – July 4th downtown Flagstaff. Parade starts at 9 a.m. Doney Park – Parade starts at 12:30 p.m. Williams Fourth of July Parade – Down Route 66. Flagstaff will be celebrating the Fourth of July with a variety of events. The ones we’ve mentioned here are all free. First, the Chamber 4th of July Parade begins in historic downtown Flagstaff. The parade is from 9 to 11 a.m. and starts at Elm and Beaver. There are so many festivals, concerts, parades and lightshows to choose from over the 4th of July weekend. Undoubtedly, you will want to come for the day or stay all weekend. Check out the Flagstaff Downtown Mile Run and then stay for the big Independence Day Parade. Visit the festival at Heritage Park or Art in the Park at Wheeler Park. Flagstaff Art in the Park is a locally owned and operated arts and crafts festival featuring juried fine art and crafts designed and shown by the artists.
