The annual Fourth of July Parade will begin at 10 a.m. along Main Street and is expected to feature more than 100 entries. The parade will start at Adams Street, proceed east on Main Street, make a U-turn at Washington Street, and continue west to Bowie Street. Parade participation is free, but all entries must be decorated in a patriotic theme. The three-day festival of Fredericksburg’s German roots includes multiple stages of oompah music and all the German eats and drinks you could imagine. Originally started in 1991 by a group of community-minded friends, this small-town patriotic parade has grown over the years to be one that is loved by many. The parade will begin promptly at 10 am and head east on Main Street to the National Museum of the Pacific War. It then makes a u-turn and goes west on Main all the way to Bowie Street.
