Celebrate America's birthday with a fiery Fourth of July fireworks display in these Northern Virginia communities. Independence Day Celebration, Fairfax | July 4 (Rain date: July 5) Fireworks will set the sky aglow at the Fairfax High School Stadium at 3501 Lion Run, Fairfax, from 9:30 to 9:45 p.m. Band performances will precede and follow the dazzling display, and the Vienne-Falls Chorus will sing the National Anthem at 8 p.m. Then in the evening, the Fourth of July entertainment moves to Fairfax High’s football stadium, 3501 Lion Run, from 6:30-10 p.m., for the evening show and fireworks display. The annual Independence Day parade and evening show and fireworks will be celebrated this year on July 4. The parade takes place in Downtown Fairfax and the evening show and fireworks will be held at Fairfax High School Stadium. When: Friday, July 4, 2025, 6:00p.m.-9:30p.m. What to Expect: Gates open at 6:00p.m. for a cornhole tournament, inflationable bounce houses and fun for kids, food trucks, and more.
