The St. Louis Metro Area has many events to celebrate Independence Day - our nation's birthday! Fourth of July parades, festivals, fireworks displays, and more! Celebrate Independence Day with the best fireworks displays and parties in St. Louis, St. Louis County, St. Charles County and the Metro East. They are headlined by four major happenings: the historic America’s Birthday Parade, dating back to 1878; the breathtaking July 4th Fireworks Display framed by The Gateway Arch, a tradition since 1981; and the lively July 4th Concerts, alternating between Forest Park and Downtown St. Louis, also established in 1981. ST. LOUIS — Thousands of people celebrated the Fourth of July in downtown St. Louis at the 141st America's Birthday Parade, which is part of Celebrate Saint Louis, the annual festival formerly A parade kicks off the morning of July 4, which ends with dance-y rockers Neon Trees and then fireworks at 9:30 p.m. The rest of the weekend includes Country Night on July 5, featuring Chapel Heart, Tigirlily Gold, and Gabby Barrett, as well as fireworks at 10:15 p.m.—and Family Night on July 6.
