MIDDLETOWN — The longstanding Independence Day celebrations in Middletown promise to be the “most spectacular yet,” as the town has received a state grant for the event, according to a From Northern Virginia to Hampton Roads, Patch has rounded up the best July 4th fireworks displays and festive events across Virginia. Middletown, Virginia will be holding their annual 4th of July Celebration. Festivities kick off in the park at 8 AM, with vendors, games, music, the area's ONLY July 4th parade, NFL Player Meet and Greet, and a spectacular fireworks display. Held throughout the day at Middletown Park, the highlight of the festivities culminates with the parade kicking off at 5 p.m., followed by a breathtaking fireworks spectacle at dusk.
