For unincorporated Volusia County residents (any place outside all city limits), there will be no change to the garbage, recycling, bulk waste or yard waste collection schedule on Independence Day, Friday, July 4, 2025. Trash Collection for Unincorporated Areas Solid waste collection will not be affected for residents in unincorporated Volusia County on July 4. Garbage, recycling, yard waste, and bulk waste will be collected on residents’ normal schedules. Those with a Friday pickup should place their items curbside by 6 a.m. City of Palm Coast offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday, December 25 and 26, and Monday, January 1, 2024. There will be no garbage collection on Monday, December 25, and Monday, January 1. Bulk pick up (furniture / large items) is normally scheduled on your second scheduled pick up day of the week. Construction and demolition material is not considered bulk and will not be picked up by Waste Pro. All residents will need to dispose of this type of material at their own expense. Palm Coast Community Center: Closed all day July 4th ; Palm Coast Aquatics Center: Adjusted Hours of 10am – 4pm on July 3rd, 4th and 5th ; Palm Harbor Golf Club: Adjusted hours of 7am – 12pm on July 4th ; There will also be no Summer Camp programming at the Palm Coast Community Center on July 4 and 5. The total yard waste cannot exceed 2 cubic yards (about 3ft x 3ft x 6ft) in size and/or 50lbs in weight.
