Trail runners are invited to celebrate Independence Day during this 4th of July trail running event in Big Bear Lake. Runners will hit the Maple Hills Trails for a 5K, 10K, and 15K trail run. Tekamah’s pool has open swimming from noon till 4 p.m. Northridge also is offering free open golf from 3-6 p.m. The annual fireworks show will be held at Northridge Country Club at dusk. The theme for the annual parade is “Independence Day—The Tekamah Way.” With the 4th of July right around the corner, we’re gearing up for another amazing celebration filled with music, family fun, food, and a spectacular fireworks show. 🙌 We Need Your Help to Make It Happen. The annual Freedom Fest and fireworks display are fully funded by local sponsorships and support from our incredible community. Bryan will be greatly missed by his children, Justin Peterson of Killeen, Texas, Chloë Peterson of New York, NY, and Sophie Peterson of Seattle, WA. He is survived by his siblings, Susan Peterson, Gregory Peterson, Paul Peterson and Jim Peterson. Bryan lived life through a lens of curiosity, creativity, and compassion.
